Corrections Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Accuracy matters to QBigPro. Receiver menus and feature behavior can change with firmware updates, and even a carefully prepared guide can become incomplete or incorrect. Readers are encouraged to report factual errors, broken links, unclear instructions, or steps that no longer match your receiver.

How to report a correction

Use the contact page and include:

  • the URL of the QBigPro page;
  • the exact sentence, step, diagram, or link that may be wrong;
  • what appears on your device, including the exact receiver model number and firmware version when relevant; and
  • a link to supporting first-party documentation, if available.

Do not send passwords, Wi-Fi network keys, account credentials, or photos that show personal information.

How reports are reviewed

We compare credible reports with current authoritative information, usually the manufacturer’s owner’s manual, help guide, or support pages, and consider whether the difference may be caused by firmware version, region, model variant, or connected equipment. A report may result in a factual correction, clearer wording, additional troubleshooting, a changed diagram, a redirect, or removal of obsolete content.

How corrections appear

When a published guide changes, its updated date may change. Minor spelling, punctuation, or formatting fixes may be made without a separate correction note. If a mistake materially changes the meaning or safety of the instructions, we aim to correct or qualify it prominently enough that future readers receive the accurate guidance.

Response expectations

Reports are reviewed as time permits. Submission does not guarantee an individual reply or a particular editorial outcome, especially when reliable sources conflict or the reported behavior cannot be verified. Good-faith reports are still useful and help prioritize reviews.
